cup!

why are we afraid of getting a cup!
fear of lowering of prestige in front of our friends.
fear of your career being ruined.
fear of parents getting angry.

now i will list some of the advantages of getting a cup!

tasting this experience for the first time makes u a bit independent.
you are afraid of nothing.
you dont have any fear of examination.
do whatever you want.
your career become more secure because you know by mugging after getting a cup wont do you anything better.you search for other options in life.
you do things of which you are passionate about.(it may even some branch related stuff which you always feel like doing).
u see 6 and nine with a only a diffrence of 3.
you never crib .u become philosophical.
u think knowledge should be given away(from 9 pointer to 6 pointer).
you say things like you cant teach a fish to fly.

disadvantages of getting a 9,bp and other related stuff!!
you always feel the person in front of you is doing better or might do better.so u mug more.
you say only two things mug and let me mug.
u end up becoming a professor and mug for life.
you think you have a better understanding of the subject and so u start ignoring people who dont have a better understanding.
u judge a person on the basis of his cg or rather rate on that basis.
u get a good job but you leave it to get a better one or rather end up going abroad for money.

so be a cupper and enjoy life!!!!!!!!!

CG should be as high as possible. ( By any fair means).
Although it is not an direct measure of engineering skills.

But it reflects your dedication, rigid ness in charecter. Let us think like this: You have taken the courses (Willingly or unwillingly) then it is your duty to copelete them in the best way possible.
So, why we think or talk so much about importance of CG?
This is because we lack in motivation to get good CG. What happens is this....we lost enthu to put fite to get good CG, now the brain of an IITian needs a logic to rationalise it. And this is the point where the endless thought process on the topic "Imporatance of CG" starts.

Let me put my views about CG:
-A good CG means:
You are not the product of the environment, the environment is product of yours.
You are highly determined to do what ever job you have taken, regardless the fact, you like it or not.
You can do anything for mugging.
anything(as far as I know) ==avoiding people, acting against your interests, being selfish, listening to only those people whom you wish to talk.

general observations:
High CG guys dont talk to low CG guy.

well it seems you are contradicting your statement only.
you said one one hand that cg is not a direct measure of ur cg and on the other hand the rigidness in character.you cant rate the rigidness of a person on the basis of his cg.there are some people who just mug one day before the exam and get good marks.this doesnt reflect his character.and the general perception of having a good cg is the only ultimate thing has hampered the growth of real engineering skills in a person.this perception has forced people to become engineers on paper.how many iitians do you know who has invented something for the good of the mankind or rather they have done something for our country.but i know guys not in iit who never bothers about their marks but still they are studs in engineering.there are people who are still trying to learn without bothering about their cg.cg does reflect your dedication but that dedication is not of any use unless you apply whatever you study.
if you have read abdul kalam`s book
india in 2020 he has clearly stated that generally people other than iitians are responsible for the growth of industries in India.they are one who are creating something.
the talk of getting good cg is not old and it is also done at the school level.(you must be knowing).
few weeks back there was a survey in our ie lab that how many people are there in the lab after 5 pm.the no. was never more than 10 and most of them were mtech and phd scholars.why do you think they are doing this survey?
its true that without reading you cant become an engineer.learning should never be done keeping in mind your cg.

Let me elaborate on my point. I've said
CG should be as high as possible. ( By any fair means).
Although it is not an direct measure of engineering skills
From rigidness I meant their commitment. They have taken courses, they complete it at its best.
Else I agree with you.

Hey! is there no one interested in this topic other than us?
