reality bites???

college life is fun!!! you live a very careless life(atleast me!!). but life has something else to offer. with most of us doing an outsourced job or any other job which is related to west, we are being pushed into slavery. this fact might not be visible to many but this thing has created concentrated centres of developed economy. with most of the country without power we talk about internet creating a revolution. although it is true that internet has changed the country to some extent but mostly limited to cities.
Our country is not bangalore or bombay. reality is something else. time has changed but situation remains the same. we are still not united. we are still slaves!! we have accepted english but not hindi(especially in south india) as the language for communicating with someone else. Regionalism has seriousely crippled the country although we boast of it. We seriousely need to have some uniformity throughout the country whether it is language , attitude or the same fire of nationalism which was seen 100 years ago.

we are considered as the competitor of china by US who doesnt manufacture anything in India but in china.
manufacturing is an integral part of any economy. services alone cannot provide an equal distribution of economy. outsourcing has created services but not manufacturing. unless the skills learned in colleges are put in manufacturing we cant change anything. we have a large man power. the only thing we need to change is the attitude-the attitude of immitating the west. we are indians and we should remain so. but this things are not happening in the present scenario which hurts!!! China has still maintained its language and has forced the companies to learn their language. They have also forced the companies to give away their technology to them if they want to work there. That sort of potential we also need to develop.

These things cannot be changed in few days. The need of the hour is to be aware of things happening around in the country. to be aware of what is wrong and right.

But these things are very idealistic. I cant change them alone. But the reality is that in coming years I am also going to be the part of this slavery which has a strong grip over our country. the need is to find a clever way of absorbing their technology , generating new ideas, and putting that thing for the need of the country. this seems obvious but its not happening!! IT has given us money but it has not helped in generating ideas which can fulfill the needs of the country. the country is a lot more backward than “banglore”.

I want to do something for my country which can bring prosperity in “the real sense”. One thing I am sure of is that I will free myself from this slavery and will be the part of a group which is trying hard to make our country a better place.

Jai hind!!!!!!!!!!!

"nice blog Mukul Daa"
I really like it.

Internet is creating a revolution in our country but it is limited to cities only. I think, we need to take it to the rural area. It would be much useful there.

recently got some comments on yahoo.
one of the comments stated that "outsourcing is another kind of business". this is quite different from manufacturing. software developing is manufacturing but testing and debugging is not which is generally done by companies here. do you see any software developed by indian companies. just imagine getting a windows XP like software in just 100 or 200 rs.
point is that although some part of software is developed in India but
we dont have rights over it. outsourcing is done in china also but they have developed skill to absorb technology and put it to "manufacturing". talking about selling lee jeans to india which is produced in USA but sold in india is
quite different. in outsourcing things are "implemented" in india and sold back to india.
